How it works
Tip = bill × tip percentage ÷ 100. Total = bill + tip. Per-person total = total ÷ number of people.
Formula / calculation method

Worked examples
- A 20% tip on 100 adds 20, for a total of 120.
- A 15% tip on 80 adds 12; split between 4 people, the total is 23 per person.
