About Solveberry

Solveberry is an independent web utility publisher focused on fast, transparent calculators and reference tools.

What we publish

Solveberry keeps its original global-English calculator and conversion library, while new development is increasingly focused on U.S.-specific utilities where an American law, tax rule, agency rate, benefit limit, jurisdiction or effective date materially changes the answer.

How calculations work

Tools run locally in the browser and do not require an account or server-side storage of calculator inputs. Formula pages show the relationship used, worked examples, reference values and important limitations so results can be checked independently.

How U.S. tools are sourced

For tax, retirement, payroll, wage, travel and federal-calendar utilities, Solveberry prefers primary U.S. government sources such as the IRS, Social Security Administration, U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Personnel Management and General Services Administration. State-specific tools use official state sources where a state rule changes the result.

Each U.S. tool states the tax year or effective period it is designed for, links to its primary source, and shows a genuine review date. See the U.S. Sources & Update Methodology.

How we review tools

Before release, calculation logic is checked against regression cases and deployment QA. Material rule changes are treated as calculation changes, not cosmetic copy edits. Where a source changes mid-year, the page should model the effective date explicitly rather than silently replacing the older rate.

How we organize the site

Global converters remain grouped by measurement or calculation topic. U.S.-specific tools are grouped around real systems such as work and payroll, taxes and investing, retirement and benefits, and travel reimbursement. Reverse-direction unit conversions stay on one canonical page rather than being split into near-duplicates.

Independence and limitations

Solveberry is not a government agency and is not affiliated with the IRS, SSA, DOL, OPM, GSA or any state government. Its calculators are informational tools, not legal, tax, financial, accounting or benefits advice. Users should verify consequential decisions against the linked primary source or a qualified professional.

How we expand

New pages must solve a distinct user need. Solveberry does not create separate pages solely for every numerical input, reverse direction, state name or keyword variant. U.S. expansion is based on genuine differences in rules, rates, standards or workflows rather than geographic keyword substitution.
