Federal Business Days Calculator 2026–2027
Count Monday–Friday business days between two dates while excluding the official federal holidays observed for most federal employees.
What counts as a federal business day?
This tool counts Monday through Friday and removes the federal holidays shown on the U.S. Office of Personnel Management holiday schedules. It uses the observed holiday date, so a Saturday holiday may be observed on Friday and a Sunday holiday may be observed on Monday.
This is a federal-workday reference, not a universal banking, court, shipping, stock-market, state-government, school, or private-employer calendar. Those organizations can follow different closure schedules.
